Atlanta has become a prominent Film & TV mega house for talent looking to make a name for themselves. Among those up and coming names is Amir Mahlek, a struggling filmmaker and aspiring screenwriter who can’t balance his real life with those in his stories. Amir is accompanied by his friend, Clarence, who has gotten caught up in the local rap scene as a music video director while juggling the turmoils of marriage and parenthood. Justin, the group’s newest addition is pursuing an acting career despite his troubling past and shortcomings in raising his menacing but sweet little sister, Kate.

Amir and Clarence will do whatever it takes to move their careers and lives forward against all odds of being successful black men in the film industry - let alone in America.
